Brittains Premium Vodkas

Using only the finest Yorkshire raspberries from fruit producers near Doncaster, in a recipe lovingly developed in a local farm kitchen, husband and wife team John and Fiona Raper created a true Yorkshire Raspberry Vodka that has had the region’s high–end retailers and restaurants clamouring for more.  Experimentation with flavours and John’s vision for expanding the product range has now led to ten exciting flavours; - we'redelighted to include Brittains flavoured vodkas in our range of gift hampers. 

Brittains Premium Vodkas can currently be found in our Chilli-Chocolate Indulgent Hamper and our Girl's Night In Hamper, but watch this space ...with such yummy flavours we can't resist adding more to our range!

Choc-Affair

The City of York has long been renowned for producing delicious chocolate and that tradition continues with Choc-Affair, a local company producing hand-made Fair Trade chocolate goodies. 

 It all began when owner Linda Barrie's two young daughters were milk intolerant.  Traditional   hot chocolate drinks were out of the question and so some innovation was needed.  A few bars of dark chocolate, some spoonfuls of unrefined sugar and lots of soya milk later, delicious hot chocolate was created. Linda drafted in friends and family for tasting sessions and Choc-affair was officially born.

Choc-Affair chocolate can be found in Spuddy Buddy the Couch Potato, Chilli-Chocolate Indulgent Hamper, Girl's Night In Hamper, and our ever popular Choc & Sock Bouquets for ladies, teens and young girls; - we're working on some more tasty treats (its a hard job but someone's got to do it!) so watch this space...

The Harrogate Cake Company

      Originally established over 40 years ago under the family name of Mrs Bainbridge, the award winning Harrogate Cake Company first opened its doors in 2007.

      Passionate about quality, their distinctive flavours are achieved using only the finest, locally sourced, natural ingredients.

      Still utilising the same recipes and methods handed down over the years, their cakes are made by real people - not production lines.  Each cake is also individually hand wrapped to ensure they look as great as they taste!

      We have chosen their Farmhouse Fruitcake for our Traditional Yorkshire Tea-Time Hamper  and our Yorkshire's Finest Hamper; made to a traditional Farmhouse recipe, this cake is packed with quality, vine ripened fruits and extra cherries - delicious!

Their delicious iced Christmas cakes and Christmas puddings are also a highlight of our seasonal Christmas Hampers.

Nutty About

Our friends at Nutty About have a real passion for mixing and matching flavours.  They source top quality nuts from all over the world and roast in small batches to create a really moreish blend of flavour in their nuttery in Harrogate, Yorkshire.

Our favourites are Bombastic Macadamias, Very Yummy Vanilla Almonds and Original Mixed Nuts.

Their nuts are so delicious we've even revamped our popular Girl's Night In to include their Very Yummy Vanilla Almonds!  Nuts from Nutty About can also be found in our Man's Night In Hamper, as well as several of our seasonal Christmas hampers Nut-free versions of these are also available on request.

Steenbergs Organic

Steenbergs is a family-run, friendly firm committed to Fairtrade, the environment and people. It was set up in 2003 by Axel and Sophie Steenberg in North Yorkshire.  Passionate about providing organic spices and organic cooking ingredients packed with flavour, aroma and provenance, Steenbergs spices are: ethically sourced - many carry the Fairtrade Mark; organic; environmentally sound - Steenbergs is carbon neutral; great flavour; stylishly (and functionally) packed; and there for you to create fun and delicious creations.

We are delighted to include Steenbergs products in our range of hampers; currently found in our Chilli- Chocolate Indulgent Hamper, and Here Comes Summer - BBQ Hamper as well as some of our Christmas hampers.
 

  The Twisted Chilli

  Steve and Gillian at The Twisted Chilli - based in Wetwang, Yorkshire - provide top quality fresh ground spices for you to create your own authentic curries at home.

   The Say It Personally team love these spice kits from The Twisted Chilli, and have included them in our Curry Favour and Curry Night Deluxe Hampers.  Watch this space, there may be more gifts for curry lovers coming soon...

The Mad Hatter Tea Company

   Specially blended with a flavour of our native Yorkshire, Mad Hatter Tea is a perfect balance of colour and flavour combined together to tantalise taste buds that simply revive the      spirit, enrich the mood & adds peppiness and cheerfulness to the substance of life!   

The Mad Hatter Tea Company is based in Richmond, North Yorkshire, where Lewis Carroll's genius was first discovered. 

The company is a member of the Ethical Tea Partnership, which aims to improve the lives of tea workers and ensure that tea drinkers can be confident that the tea in their cup has been produced in an environmentally and socially sustainable way.

Bracken Hill Fine Foods

The Say It Personally team are thrilled to include preserves, sauces and condiments from this award-winning Yorkshire producer in our range - and their products have become firm favourites in our home kitchens!  

After 20 years making preserves for other people Neil decided to "go it alone" and produce high quality preserves using as many locally grown ingredients as possible.  With the help of his wife Gill, Bracken Hill Fine Foods was born. Their    son Peter joined them two years later and with the help of friends and a dedicated team have gone from strength to strength, producing some of Yorkshire's finest Preserves.  Both Neil and Gill began life in agriculture and it is important to   them both to use the best ingredients from local growers where possible.  Indeed the name Bracken Hill derives from Neil's Grandfather's farm on the East coast of Yorkshire.

Wold Top Brewery

Our men-folk (and some of us ladies!) love these traditional beers from the Yorkshire coast, so we've included their "Wold Gold" Blonde Beer in some of our gift sets.

"Wold Gold" is a blonde continental style beer, a heady mix of Wold grown Barley, Wheat and Cara malt hopped with Goldings and Styrian Goldings hopps to give the beer its soft, fruity flavour with a hint of spice.

  Grumpy Mule Coffee

Award-winning Grumpy Mule is produced by Bolling Coffee Ltd, one of the leading independent roasters of high quality, fresh coffees.  A family business run by Iam Balmforth, with their roastery is situated in the small Yorkshire town of Meltham, near Holmfirth.

Ian says   “In contrast to the traditional methods of blending various coffees, Grumpy Mule focuses upon offering and promoting unique single origin coffees and spellbinding micro-lots. Our passion for flavour and aroma is equalled only by our determination to find coffees that are produced with care and respect for the environment and the people who grow them.”

The Grumpy Mule Coffee we have chosen for our hampers is Fair-Trade Organic Bolivia ground coffee from 100% Arabica beans, suitable for use in a wide range of coffee making equipment including French press (cafetiere), filters and percolators.

Grumpy Mule Coffee can currently be found in our Yorkshire's Finest Hamper, Coffee Time in Yorkshire Hampers for Gents and Ladies and Mum's Coffee Time Basket, as well as our Yorkshire Breakfast Hamper and seasonal Christmas Hampers.

White Rose Aromatics is a true Yorkshire family business established in 1993. 

Priding themselves in manufacturing and supplying some of the highest quality fragranced toiletries and gifts, the team has taken great care and attention in developing their range, highlighting the 'Best of British'.

We love the Butterfly Garden range, which we've included in some of our ladies gifts, and the Woodside range, which is featured in some of our gifts for gentlemen (see below)
